Quantilus implemented the use of software which had the combination of flexible analysis tools within publishing-specific data architecture through Publishing Intelligence, a central information source for reporting and analysis.
The implemented software, OLAP functionality, developed using Cognos tools, enabled users to explore large volumes of summarized data with sub-second response times. Users at any business or technical skill level in a company could perform their own multidimensional analysis, create reports, and easily share them for better decision-making.Information was drawn from relational databases, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, to model and build Power Cubes data sets. Cubes and reports were deployed to web clients, or to Windows and Excel clients, all using the same application server.
